This was created for Kim Klassen's Textured Tuesday using her KK 1402 Collection. Tomatoes are still on the vines and I'm savoring everyone of them until the first frost. Over the weekend I had the pleasure of going antiquing with a girlfriend and she helped me find this scale with the perfect touch of red. It has found a new home on my kitchen counter.

What a terrific quote! I'm filing it in my memory bank. That's a great scale too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Stephanie.
DeleteI love this entire piece!!! Is the quote an original? It is soooooo true!
ReplyDeleteThanks, the author was unknown. But it made me smile.
DeleteWhat a fun photo and quote...love it!!
ReplyDeleteI was drawn to your photo because the one I posted on Texture Tuesday today also included a scale. I love your colors and the quote I believe is Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! How can one capture tomatoes so it turns out like a piece of art! This is what still lifes are all about :)
ReplyDeleteLove the scale and your picture is beautiful. Such a wonderful quote!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Love the quote particularly since my husband would eat tomatoes every day of his life if he could.
