Today I'm playing along with Song-ography since "Silver Bells" is one of my favorites holiday songs. This photo was snapped with my iPhone last week in Westwood, NJ.
Yes, soon it will be Christmas Day!

LOVE this! I was sitting out a snow storm in a corner restaurant in Philly last year...and along came this bike rider on the busy and SNOW COVERED city streets. It just totally captured my attention and my imagination wondering about a bike rider on a snowy city street. Your photo totally reminded me of that moment in time for me. I do love how you processed this in BW too. Perfect for this photograph. Thank you for joining in on Song-ography. I wish you and yours a joyous holiday season.
ReplyDeleteThis bicycle intrigues me too - it's always chained to this post in town. Think the owner lives above one of the stores. Thanks for hosting - I always have a song in my head trying to get out.
DeleteIs there a like button for this photo?! Instant fave and thought that I wish I took it. Nicely done and the BW sets the right mood.
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan!
DeleteGreat shot! Looks like a lot of people got some "wintery" weather this week. Thankfully for us ours melted the same day (I'm not a snow fan). I love the wreath on the door in this shot. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! Perfect for this weeks song prompt!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous composition!...and I love that you chose B/W. Lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteThis is holiday style at its best!
ReplyDeleteThis is just perfect and I love the font you used. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot this is, and I have to wonder where the biker is... I am hoping that he just lost the bike in the fall. This is very nice in black and white. HOpe that you have yourself a MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS
ReplyDeleteThe bike is always tied to this post, so I assume he lives over one of the stores. Merry Christmas.
DeleteStunning photo, really good :D
ReplyDeleteLove your photo and love the song! We had snow in DE but the rain washed it away:( Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteThink it's pretty unanimous about that excellent photo, agree it's great in blk/white.
ReplyDeleteWe had little over 8 1/2" of white stuff about 3 weeks ago. It's been cold enuf to keep most of it on the ground. We had some warming up into 40's which melted some of it. We had another little spurt of snow last week but barely got enuf to matter. We're back in 30's to 20's again so snow is still here. Luckily I'm a cold weather, snow lover. Hope whether some folks have snow or not, sure wish for all a wonderful Christmas & Happy Healthy New year. Stay warm
Love your picture, such a perfect blog right now. Thank you for sharing with the Clever Chicks Blog Hop! I hope you’ll join us again next week!
