This was a fun little still life I set up and painted in class this week. Love the buttery feel to it. Wish there was more hours in the day to paint. 6x6 oil on gesso board.

The Ambitious Apple
My entry in this week's DPW "Pare Down Your Apple" challenge posted by Carol Marine. How can such a simple subject be so challenging. The purpose was to paint an apple in as few areas of color as possible. Every plane had to be a different value. Fun!
